It’s taken a long time and a ramp would have been better, but at least its here and is much easier for cyclists to use.
They should be open before the 21st – but a grand opening and ribbon-cutting is planned for Nov 21st just after 12:30pm. As many cyclists as possible should be there
Their first campaign is to get a temporary 18-month closure of Oak Tree Lane, Bournville to through motor-traffic, with a view to making that closure permanent after that. So if there are any BUBUG members who cycle or live around that area, it would be useful if they could put their names on Shivaji’s petition.

There is another petition that is calling for a pedestrian crossing on Vincent Drive, preferably near the junction with Pritchatts Road and potentially a second within the vicinity of the National Blood Service.
